A Place to Belong by Megan Hill was published in  2020.

” By opening their doors and then their hearts, they invited me to belong. I had no martial or biological ties to anyone in the congregation, and yet, in a very short time, they became my family.” page 101.

This book was published in 2020. It has been in my to be read stack for a while. In fact, I started it sometime last year and never got it finished. I picked it up again recently and am so glad that I did.

This book is not deep theology, but it is a great reminder to love those that God loves. Being part of a local church is not easy. It takes work. But it is work that needs to be done. We need the local church and the local church needs us. God uses the local church to change lives and we need to be part of that work.
