Waxing On by Ralph Macchio was published in 2022. It is a memoir.
This is a great book for anyone who grew up in the 1980s watching The Karate Kid movie.
I listened to this on audio. I highly recommend reading it that way because Ralph Macchio narrates it. I am sure the print version is enjoyable too, but Ralph Macchio reading the book gives it excitement and emotion that made it so much better.
I loved the behind-the-scenes info about The Karate Kid and the actors who made the movie what it was.
If you grew up in the 1980s this book will take you back in time. It might also make you want to watch Cobra Kai, which is the Netflix series that continues the story decades later.
