204 Rosewood Lane by Debbie Macomber was published in 2002.

204 Rosewood Lane is book two in Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove series. I read book one, 16 Lighthouse Road,  last month when I was sick and decided to read book two while still recovering. 

I liked this book for what it was. It is set in a small town on the Pacific Coast of Washington. 

It follows Judge Olivia Lockhart and her friends and family.

I have a few thoughts about this book and series. 

It repeats information a lot. I know that only some people read a series in order quickly or read the whole series, but there is so much repetition of the background details on the people that it distracts from the book. 

It also ends very abruptly. There is no wrap-up at the end of the book. If you want to know what happens next, you have to read the next book. I will say that I wanted to know what happened with the characters, so I did pick up book three.
