Betrayal at Blackthorn Park book review

Betrayal At Blackthorn Park by Julia Kelly is a historical mystery published in 2024.

Betrayal At Blackthorn Park is book two in the Evelyne Redfern Mystery series by Julia Kelly.

I love Julia Kelly’s writing. I have read several of her historical fiction books and I read and loved A Tratior In Whitehall, book one in the Evelyn Redfern series. So, when I heard book two was coming out I preordered it. I don’t preorder many books, so you know I am looking forward to a book when I preorder it.

This book is set in WWII England, a time and place I love reading about.

Evelyn Redfern just graduated from a rigorous spy training program and is given a simple security job in the countryside. Fellow agent David Poole has been assigned as her handler. However, the job becomes more than a simple security job when a chief engineer dies.

I loved this historical mystery. I loved the mystery and the English countryside setting. It has a great mystery and a hint of romance.
