Food For Thought book

Food For Thought by Alton Brown is a memoir published in 2025.

Food For Thought is Alton Brown’s memoir in essay form. If you loved watching Alton Brown on the Food Network in the late 1990s and early 2000s and enjoy his style and sense of humor, I think you will enjoy his memoir.

I pre-ordered the book because i knew I wanted to read it, but then I realized Spotify had the audiobook, so I listened to it. Alton Brown narrated it and it was very well done.

Alton Brown shares his childhood, his interest in food, and the science behind food. He also shares all about his Food Network shows and how The Food Network has changed.

I loved his chapters on comfort foods and cooking a chicken, but my favorite chapter is the chapter on Martha Stewart.

I also loved the stories on the behind the scenes at The Foodnetwork.

If you enjoy Alton Brown or love food memoirs, you will enjoy this one. I recommend trying the audiobook.
