Harbor Secrets by Melody Carlson is a Christian historical fiction book published in 2018.

Harbor Secrets is a historical fiction book set on the Oregon Coast in 1916, during Prohibition. 

It is no secret that I love historical fiction. I also grew up in Oregon, so I love books set in Oregon. Melody Carlson lives in the Pacific Northwest, so her books set in Oregon are well done. 

I have read several books set during Prohibition. I read one set in Canada during Prohibition, and I have read one set in the southern U.S., but I don’t think I have ever read one set in Oregon during Prohibition. 

I loved how Melody Carlson combined small-town life, the struggles of a small-town newspaper, life on the coast, and prohibition all into one story. 

This book covers a lot of historical topics all in one book, but in a way that was so well done. 

If you like clean historical fiction, I think you will enjoy Harbor Secrets by Melody Carlson. I plan to add others in the series to my to be read list. 

It is listed as a Christian historical ficiton book, but I think it is a book anyone will enjoy.
