Heart of the Glen by Jennifer Deibel is a Christian historical fiction book published in 2025.

It is a clean historical romance book set on an Irish farm in the early 1900s. 

Saoirse arrives at Drumboe Castle to start her new job, only to find out that the lord has passed away, and she no longer has a job.  She has no family or life to return to, so she wanders the dark, unsure of what to do. 

Aileen, whose brother Owen is a sheep farmer and weaver, stops and gives her a place to sleep for the night. 

Saoirse is eager to help Aileen and Owen, but tragedy seems to strike anywhere Saoirse goes. 

I loved the history of Ireland, especially of farming and weaving, in this book. I have read very few books set in Ireland, so I learned a lot about early 1900s Ireland. 

This book was also a fun and clean romance read, although it was somewhat predictable and a bit cheesy. However, since I learned a lot, I did enjoy it.
