Heaven Rules by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth was published in 2022. It is Christian nonfiction. 

Heaven Rules was a slow and steady read for me. I would read a little bit here and there, so even though it is a short book it took me about two months to get through. 

Nancy Demoss Wolgemuth has written quite a few Christian books and she is a well-known Christian podcaster and speaker. I have read quite a few of her other books, so when this book was released I knew that I wanted to read it. 

In 2020, in the midst of Covid, Nancy’s husband was diagnosed with two different types of cancer. In the midst of the pandemic and cancer, Nancy longed to keep her focus on Heaven, not Earth. 

This book shares her journey through the book of Daniel as she keeps her gaze focused on Heavenly things, not earthly things. 

I enjoyed this book. I think it would be a great gift book to give someone going through a difficult time. It is not super deep reading, but it is very thought-provoking. 

I will say that I have read so many books by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, that I can tell she uses the same stories in multiple books. So, if you have read or listened to Nancy a lot, some of this book may sound familiar to you. 

That is not necessarily bad, but just a warning because I know that some people won’t enjoy reading it as much because of that.
