Lynn's Review
Hercule Poirot’s Christmas by Agatha Christie was published in 1938.
It is Christmas Eve, and there is a murder at Gorston Hall. Upstairs, in a locked room, Simeon Lee, the family patriarch, is found in a pool of blood.
Did one of his sons kill him, or was it one of their wives? Could it have been his granddaughter or business partner’s son who showed up without warning? Can Poirot solve the case?
I listened to this on audio and loved it. It was the perfect mystery to read in December and is now one of my favorite Poirot books.
