Holy Hygge by Jamie Erickson is a Christian nonfiction book about the Danish practice of Hygge. 

I have had this book for a while, but when my friend Jessica at Life At Mom mentioned wanting to read it, I decided it was time to pick it up. 

Holy Hygge was not quite what I thought it was going to be. It is about Hygge, and it covered some about your home and Hygge, but I felt like it was more about Hygee, your life and soul. 

I would have liked this book better if I had realized that. I thought it was going to be about home and hospitality. Instead, it was a lot about rest and contentment.That is not bad; it just wasn’t what I had expected. 

I think Holy Hygge would be good for someone who feels the need to slow down and savor life. If you are worn out from the rush of life, you will probably enjoy Holy Hygge and find ways to quiet your life and soul.
