Book Review of
James Patterson
Lynn's Review
James Patterson: The Stories of My Life by James Patterson is James Patterson’s memoir written in short stories.
I have never read a James Patterson book, but I love to read memoirs. This was an impulse buy recently and I am so glad I bought it.
It was a fun read. The chapters are short. They are basically short stories and it is easy to pick up and down. The writing is great.
At times it is humorous and fun and at times it is serious and real life. What I love most about this book is his passion for reading and his desire to help others, especially kids, fall in love with reading too.
After reading this I instantly ordered three of his nonfiction books.I am not sure his fiction books are my type of reading but I might try reading one of those too.
There is some language in the book and a few I really didn’t need to know that about you spots, but overall I really enjoyed it.
As soon as I finished it I handed it to Grace and said that she needed to read it.
Thank you so for your book reviews. My daughter and I just found your site, subscribed and are loving the suggestions.
May I ask which of his books you ordered?
My daughter (24) loves Agatha Christie and has wondered about Patterson’s books.
I am so glad that you are enjoying our book reviews and suggestions. Thank you for subscribing. I read and loved James Patterson memoir. I ordered a couple of his nonfiction books, Walk In My Combat Boots, E.R. Nurses, and his book on the Kennedy’s. A friend told me that her son loved James Pattersons Dog Diaries, but I have not read those yet. I will definitely share reviews of his books as I read them.
