Meeting Her Match by Jen Turano is a Christian romance book published in 2024.

Meeting Her Match by Jen Turano is book three in the Matchmakers series. It is listed as a Christian historical romance, and it is, but it also has a lot of comedy. I think of it as a rom-com. 

Meeting Her Match is set in West Virginia during the Gilded Age. It follows Camilla Piermont, a matchmaker and member of New York’s Four Hundred, as she finds her match, a West Virginian businessman. 

I have read all three books in this series and have mixed thoughts on them. They are mindless, fun, clean, and reads. But they are also over the top, cheesy, and unrealistic. 

However, I enjoy reading these when I don’t feel well and don’t have enough brain power to focus. 

I recently had to take some medication for my asthma that kept me up at night. This is one of the books I picked up when I was wide awake at three o’clock in the morning. 

This is not a book that I would want to read all the time, but it was the perfect book for what I needed it. This was my least favorite of the three books in the series. There was just too much silly and not enough serious for me.
