Book Review of
Plot Twist
Lynn's Review
Plot Twist by Bethany Turner was published in 2021. It is Christian fiction.
I have heard several people mention Plot Twist as a great clean romance book. When I saw it on Kindle Unlimited I decided to get it for a recent trip to Branson, MO. My husband had a work conference in Branson and I tagged along. I am still not feeling great, so I spent quite a bit of time in the hotel reading. This is one of the books that I read. I finished it in a day.
This is a good clean romance book.
It follows Oliva, a writer for a greeting card company, every year on February 4th, for ten years. Each chapter is another year. It starts in February 2003 and ends in February 2013.
I thought this was a unique and fun idea for a book. Since it only followed one day a year for ten years, it was different than anything else I had read.
However, I will say that it is still a semi-cheezy, predictable, romance read.
It made a great vacation read. It was quick and did not take a lot of thought to read. I would consider this a good clean beach read.
If that is what you are looking for you will probably enjoy this one. If you are looking for something with a little more depth and storyline, you might want to skip this one.
This was a three or maybe three-and-a-half-star read for me.
