Sweet Beginnings by Nicole Ellis is a clean romance book published in 2017.

Sweet Beginnings caught my attention because it was a clean romance book about a bookstore in a small town on the Washington coast.

I like to read clean fiction, but so many of them are a bit cheesy and lack a real-life storyline. Sweet Beginnings is not cheesy. It is a bit predictable, but it reads a lot like real life would have.

I also love books about books. I grew up in a small town and lived in a small city for years, so I can relate to books about small-town life.

Sweet Beginnings Dahlia, who inherits her aunt’s bookstore in Candle Beach, and Garret, who recently moved to Candle Beach for a quiet life.

This book was a quick read that I enjoyed. Next time I need a fast, escapist read, I plan to read book two, Sweet Success.
