Lynn's Review

The Christmas Tree Farm by Melody Carlson is a Christmas fiction book published in 2024.

This was my first Christmas book of the year. I am working on a Christmas books project, so this is probably the first of several I will be reading well before the Christmas book-reading season. I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed it.

After the death of her grandparents, Madison returns to Oregon to help run her family’s Christmas tree farm. Madison’s sister, Addie, is determined to sell the Christmas tree farm, but Madison is determined to make the Christmas season a success so she can save the farm.

While working hard to save the farm, she realizes her high school boyfriend has returned to his family property next door.

This book is a Hallmark Christmas movie in book form. I thought it was a quick, fun read.

I loved the setting of an Oregon Christmas tree farm, because I grew up down the road from a large, very well known, Christmas tree farm. So, the setting probably helped me enjoy the book even more than a normal Christmas book.

This book is listed as a Christmas holiday book, but I anyone can read this one. The only way I knew that it was considered a Christian book was that a Christian publisher published it.
