Lynn's Review
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie was published in 1926.
Roger Ackroyd led a life of privilege but he knew too much. He was stabbed to death in a locked room in his house using his own weapon.
This might be my favorite Agatha Christie. It is at least my favorite of the ones that I have read so far. To me, this book is Agatha Christie and Poirot at their finest. I knew nothing about this one when I picked it up to read. The ending totally surprised me.
I know that others say that they figured this one out, but I did not. I am not going to say anything more about this one because I think it is best to go into it knowing very little.
And now I am one book closer to my goal of reading all the Hercule Poirot books.
