When Disability Hits Home by Paul Tautges was published in 2020.

The subtitle to this book is How God Magnifies His Grace in our Weakness and Suffering, and it fits the book perfectly. This book reminds us how God uses our weaknesses and trials for our good and His glory.

The author, Paul Tautges, shares about disabilities and trials from experience and he shares it in a relatable way.

One of my favorite reminders from the book is “ If God only gave us what we could handle, where would the glory be? Who would get the credit?” Oh, how true that statement is.

When Disability Hits Home is also a reminder that Christians live life together, we all work together for God. When one person in the church sufferers, so do the others in the church. Trials and disabilities force us to put aside pride and rely on each other.

This book has nothing groundbreaking, but it was a great reminder of how God perfectly orchestrates the church to do His work.
