My new favorite baby gift to give is a Lego book gift. What could be better than Lego boxes and books?
I recently gave some Lego storage boxes full of books as a baby gift, and it might be my favorite baby gift ever.
Reading and Lego blocks go so well together.
Books are about learning. Playing with Lego blocks also helps you learn. Put them together and have the perfect Lego book gift.
For this baby gift, I didn’t know what was needed, but I knew that the parents, especially the mother, loved to read.
I was also pretty sure it was a family who would love Lego and Lego-themed things.
I got the Lego boxes from Amazon, but I know that other places sell them.
I bought three different sizes of boxes: a square six by six box, a twelve by six box, and a larger nineteen by nine box.
The two smaller boxes stack on top of each other but do not stack on the larger box.
I picked out a few board books to fill the smaller boxes. I put classic books like Peter Rabbit and Winnie the Pooh in the larger box.
I like the two smaller boxes because they stack, but they didn’t hold the larger books, so I added the larger box as well.
I did three boxes, but really just one box with a couple of books would be a fun baby gift.

What a neat idea! Our kids have several of the large boxes for all their lego blocks, but I never thought of giving them as a gift with books inside – so fun!
