It has been way too long since I shared a what I am reading post. My intention was to share them monthly, but this year has gotten away with me and I haven’t shared one since January…
This year has not been the best reading year for me. I have read quite a few books, but many of them have been fiction books that weren’t all that great. I have had a few good ones, but not great ones that I felt were worth sharing.
One of my current reading challenges is to read more books about the United States. Not how the United States was formed, but books about states and the people that live in them. I will share more about this challenge soon, but the Oregon Trail book is an example of books I am reading to challenge myself when it comes to reading.
Here are a few of the books that I have been reading.
-
- The Woman In the Water by Charles Finch-This is the most recent book in one of my favorite mystery series. I really enjoyed this one.
-
- The Oregon Trail by Rinker Buck-I wasn’t sure what I was going to think of this book, but I ended up loving it.
-
- Kiss the Wave by Dave Furman –This was a great Christian book for anyone going through trials.
-
- Just Open the Door by Jen Schmidt- This is one of the best books on hospitality that I have read. I highly recommend it.
