Grace's Review
Herriot’s tale, which he weaves in All Creatures Great and Small, is very entertaining. He shows that being a vet, especially in the 1930s, is not for everyone. He discuss his entrance into being a real vet and his interesting mentor. I love the stories that Herriot writes about. There are a few things I don’t like about the book such as Herriot and many in the book drink and get drunk. Most of the female animals that Herriot treats are referred to as bitches. This definitely a book for animal lovers or anyone who wants a good laugh.
