Stack of Advent Calendar Puzzles

Our family enjoys doing puzzles. I, however, love doing puzzles, especially during the winter.

A few years ago, I discovered Advent puzzles.

Advent Calendar by Christmas tree

Advent puzzles contain twenty-four boxes of smaller puzzles that, when put together, make one big puzzle.

They are usually forty to one hundred pieces each and are made to be opened one puzzle a day during December.

These puzzles are great for anyone who loves puzzles. They are also enjoyable for families to do together. Since they usually have under one hundred pieces per day, they work for a wide age range.

Advent Calendar puzzle pieces

Our family has a Christmas tradition of doing a puzzle together over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

We started the tradition when my kids were younger and have continued it now that they are adults. We all look forward to doing a puzzle together every year.

Last year, I decided to buy an Advent calendar puzzle instead of purchasing a big puzzle.

Instead of opening them each day, we opened them as we wanted to do them over Christmas weekend. This way, everyone had multiple little puzzles to put together. When we put the little puzzles together, we had a giant puzzle.

Doing an Advent puzzle was a fun way to change up our Christmas puzzle tradition.

Advent Puzzle

I loved doing the Advent calendar so much that I bought another one for this year as a family.

I also loved the Advent calendars so much that I bought several this year to put them together during December.

Yes, I know Advent Calendars are meant to be opened and put together each day of December, but I love occasionally sitting down and working on a small puzzle.

I wish you could buy more puzzles like this. I love that they are regular puzzles, just a smaller number of pieces.

Christmas puzzle

No matter how you use the Advent calendar puzzle, they are a fun December tradition.

Now for some of our favorite Advent calendar puzzles and holiday puzzles.
