Book Review of
Black Coffee
Lynn's Review
Black Coffee by Agatha Christie was published in 1961. I listened to the audiobook of this one.
Sir Claud Amory, a scientist, is killed. Did a guest kill him? Was it a family member? Did they kill him for his money or his scientific formula? Hercule Poirot is on the case.
This book was a play by Agatha Christie that was adapted into a book. I Liked this one but didn’t love it. To me, it reads a lot like a play.
There is a lot of conversation in this book. More than in other Agatha Christie books. Which makes sense since it is a play.
The majority of this book takes place in one room. Which again makes sense since it was adapted from a play.
I listened to this audiobook on Scribd and enjoyed the narration. I also love that Scribd has so many Agatha Christie books available.
