Sweet Success by Nicole Ellis was published in 2017.

Sweet Success is book two in the Candle Beach series by Nicole Ellis. The book will make a little more sense if you read book one first, but you don’t have to read it first. This book can easily be a stand-alone. 

This book is set in a small town on the Washington State coast. I love the Pacific Northwest setting. The author lives in Washington, and you can tell that from her writing. She knows the Pacific Northwest, the people, the places, and the weather well. 

This book starts with the town’s Chocolate Festival, where Gretchen, a small-town realtor, meets Parker, the son of her parents’ rival. Both are trying to escape the trials of working in a family business. 

I enjoyed this clean fiction book. I read book two last month and knew I wanted to read book two. 

I will pick up this series when I am in the mood for a quick and easy romance.
