The Ladies of Covington Send Their Love by Joan A Medlicott. It is a fiction book that was published in 2000.

This book is often on the list of books for people that love Mitford. Multiple readers have recommended it to me. I had it on Kindle so I decided to finally give it a try. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. 

I found it a little unrealistic and not super true to what life in a small town, and life, in general, is actually like. 

I also think I would have appreciated it if I was a little older. I am in my late 40s so I am not young, but I think this book would probably be appreciated by someone a little older because they could relate more to it. 

However, that can be a good thing because so often books are set around young people and their lives. It can be hard to find books geared toward middle-aged and older.

I can see why this is often on the list for those that like Mitford. I might read more in the series, but I am not sure.
