The Lieutenant’s Nurse by Sara Ackerman was published in 2019. It is WWII Historical Fiction.
This is the second of several books about Pearl Harbor that I read recently. I enjoyed this one, but not as much as The Girls of Pearl Harbor.
Eva is a nurse with the U.S. Army Corps. She enlisted to escape her life and problems.
On the steamship headed to Hawaii, where she will be stationed, she meets Lt. Clark Spencer, a U.S. intelligence officer.
This book combines WWII, a mystery, and, of course, a little romance.
It is a book about friendship, trust, war, and love.
This is the second book by Sarah Ackerman that I have read, and I plan to read more.
