It has been almost a month since we shared our favorite things. The last month has been busy with vacation, visits to bookstores, a summer college class, and more.
I realized that when I shared pictures of our visit to Powell’s Books, I didn’t show a picture of the books that Grace bought. Her four finds are above. They all sound like good reads to me. What do you think?
Can you believe that I have not read the Grapes of Wrath? We don’t even own a copy of it, so I was glad that Grace had it in her pile of books to buy.~Lynn
I finished this book recently. I love the comic strip Dilbert, and so for my birthday, my mom got me this book. I finally started reading it over vacation. I enjoyed it, and I am excited to share about it. It was interesting and taught me a lot about Dilbert and Scott Adams. A review will be coming soon on the blog! ~G
I spent last weekend reading this. So far I am enjoying it.~G
This is my Costco book haul from vacation. I know I over bought, but they were so much cheaper than I could get them off amazon. The book section at the Costco I visited on the trip was huge compared to the one I live near. That may have been partially why I bought so many books too. I am excited to start reading some of these, and I am sure you will be seeing pictures of them very soon. Any recommendations as to which one I should start first? ~G
I finished 2001: A Space Odyssey today! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this science fiction book. I enjoyed watching the movie two years ago, but now that I have read the book the movie makes a lot more sense. Now I have to rewatch the movie to see how similar they are to each other. A full review will be coming soon, but I can already say that if you like the movie or science fiction, you will enjoy this book. ~G
I would love to hear what your favorite books have been lately. Have you read any great books?
