Book Review of
Finding Christmas
Lynn's Review
I picked up Finding Christmas by Karen Schaler from the $5 fiction section at Books-A-Million. I had never heard of the author, but it looked like a fun Christmas read.
Emmie loves Christmas, everything Christmas. She wants to share her love of it with her boyfriend, so she plans a Christmas-themed winter vacation for them.
There is a mix-up up though, and instead of her boyfriend Grant showing up at the mountain top inn, best-selling mystery author Sam arrives instead.
Will the wrong guy become the right one?
This is the most Hallmark Christmas movie in book form that I have read in a long time. I don’t watch a lot of movies and TV, but I love a good Hallmark movie in book form.
It is no surprise that this is a Hallmark movie in book form because the author has written movies for Hallmark, Lifetime, and Netflix.
When I pick up a random romance novel, I never know whether it will be closed-door or open-door. I was pleasantly surprised that Finding Christmas by Karen Schaler is a closed-door romance. I loved it for that, and I can’t wait to read more by Karen Schaler.
If you are looking for a clean Christmas read, I think you will enjoy this one.
