The Love Haters by Katherine Center

Love Haters by Katherine Center is a romantic comedy book published in 2025.

Love Haters is Katherine Center’s latest release. I was so excited to read it that I preordered it months ago.

Hutch works for the Coast Guard and is a love hater, at least according to his brother Cole, who says that he is a love hater.

Katie is a video producer who has been burned by love. Cole, Katie’s boss, sends her to work on a project in Florida with his brother, Hutch.

Like Katherine Center’s other books, there is so much more than romance going on in this book.

This book is getting mixed reviews. A friend who is a fan of other Katherine Center books didn’t finish it because she didn’t like it enough to keep reading.

I enjoyed this book. I think it was the right book at the right time for me.

This book deals with a lot of body image issues, at times it was probably overdone, but I didn’t mind that.

And to keep it real, I will say that is probably because I have had body image issues. I am 5ft 10inches, and even when I weighed 118 pounds in my 20s, I was not happy with the way that I looked. I never had an eating disorder; most of my weight issues had to do with health. However, I still wasn’t happy with the way I looked.

I think this book was like The Happy Life of Isadora Bentley. I enjoyed it because there was a lot about the main character that I could relate to.

This book won’t be for everyone. Even Katherine Center fans may not enjoy this one, but I liked it.

It is considered a rom-com book, but it didn’t feel like a rom-com to me because it deals with so many serious topics. And like most of Katherine Center’s other books, the romance is pretty predictable.

If you have read The Love Haters by Katherine Center, I would love to hear your thoughts.
