Summer By the Sea by Susan Wiggs was first published in 2004.
It is what I would consider a classic beach read, which is not my typical type of reading. However, I did enjoy this one. It had good character development and storyline.
Two teenagers, one who grew up in a small beach town and one who summered there with his wealthy family, find love decades later. If you love Hallmark-style movies or books like them, this is one that you will probably enjoy.
I will say that it was what I consider very PG-13. I could have done without some of the descriptive scenes in it.
