The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman is a cozy mystery. This is the third book in the Thursday Murder Club series.

I loved the first two books in this series, so as soon as this one was released I bought the Kindle version. I read it on a recent trip to the Washington DC area with my daughter. It made for a great read to pass the time while flying, but this wasn’t my favorite in the series. I actually didn’t love this one.

If there is a book four in the series, I will probably read it, because overall I have enjoyed the series, I just found this one lacking.

I felt like the first two books in the series had some humor mixed in and I found this one lacked that. I also thought a couple of the characters were a little out of character when compared to the other two books and the story seemed very unbelievable in spots.

However, I think I am in the minority on this, the book has a lot of great reviews. If you have read this one I would love to hear your thoughts.
