Book Review of
Vera Wong’s Guide To Snooping ( On a Dead Man)
Vera comes across a distressed young woman, who is looking for a missing person, outside of the police station. Vera decides it is her job to help. Fortunately, while cat-sitting, Vera comes across Selena’s briefcase, which has the file about the missing person in it.
Xander, the missing person, seemed to have it all, at least according to what he shared online. But behind the perfectly curated life is a life no one knew he was living. Vera was determined to figure out the mystery of Xander’s death and why he wasn’t who everyone thought he was.
Lynn's Review
Vera Wong’s Guide To Snooping ( On a Dead Man) by Jesse Q. Sutanto is book two in the Vera Wong series.
I listened to this mystery book on audio. It was 10 hours 35 minutes.
I read Book One, Vera Wong’s Guide to Unsolicited Advice to Murderers, in 2023. I really enjoyed it and have had book two on my to be read list since it came out last year.
I really enjoyed this one on audio. It was just over ten hours and made a great audiobook for this month.
Like book one, there is a lot of completely over the top unrealistic stuff in this book, but there is also a lot of deeper content in it.
