May Reading 2026

It is time to share what I read in May.

Stack of May Reads 2026

Overall, I had a good reading month. I read three fiction books and three nonfiction books.

My May reading contained more new releases than normal. I read a lot of backlist books, but five of the six books I read in May were published in 2026.

What I Read In May 2026

I am sharing a few thoughts on each book, but you can click the title for more information and a full review.

Fiction

Belle of Chatham book

Belle of Chatham by Laura Frantz is a 2026 release set during the American Revolution. It is a clean historical romance that is a friends to lovers story.

The Shippers by Katherine Center book review

The Shippers is Katherine Center’s 2026 summer release. I think fans of Katherine Center will enjoy this one. It isn’t my favorite Katherince Center book, but it made for a great vacation read.

Dolly All the Time by Annabel Monaghan

Dolly All the Time is Annabel Monaghan’s 2026 release. This is only the second Annabel Monaghan book that I have read, and I will definitely be reading more of her books. I really like that her characters have depth and deal with real problems.

Nonfiction

Like Follow Subscribe Book

Like, Follow, Subscribe by Fortesa Latifi was a five-star read for me. It takes you into the world of social media influencers and YouTube stars.

This book won’t be for everyone, but if you work in the online or social media world, I highly recommend this one. I have been working online since 2008, and I found this book fascinating.

Strangers book by Belle Burden

Belle Burden’s book Strangers was a fascinating look into a marriage and divorce, but also at a world in wealthy New York City. This book has gotten a lot of attention, and I can see why.

Christian Nonfiction

Made To Tremble by Blair Linne

Made To Tremble by Blair Linne is Blair Linne’s story of learning to live with anxiety and how God used it for her good.

I would love to hear what you have been reading in the comments.
